K/S Sunstone Biomedical Venture Annex III invests in unlisted commercial enterprises, mainly in Northern Europe, that use biotechno logy in connection with the development of new pharmaceutical products and treatments. Biotechnology is defined as the use of modern biotechnological methods and knowledge about biotechnological systems for development of drugs and treatment methods. The objective is to invest in companies that can later be sold or listed on a stock exchange. A team of five investment professionals in Denmark is responsible for the investment management.
